Dews Wednesday Issues

Ahh, this image brings me back...

Well, a few things going on around the world today...

First off, we have the first US trial to challenge fines levied by music companies for sharing copyrighted music online.

Those wacky funsters at the RIAA are truly preaching the right message and fighting the good fight for our struggling music artists (Britney, I'm still waiting to hear from you), by pursuing a single mother in Minnesota with this lawsuit.

Silly her, she should have just paid the few thousand dollar extortion fee the RIAA so graciously offered to her before the trial, then she wouldn't have to suffer the full brunt of Corporate douchebaggery...

God Bless you RIAA!!!

Also, news out of Burma continues to get worse...

Apparently most insiders and Diplomats now are assuming the worst, which includes Burmese special forces essentially performing "hit" missions on monks and other such "Enemies of the state".

This whole situation is incredibly frustrating and sad to hear... This is the type of regime that should be and needs to be toppled to send the message that you can't be allowed to run a nation-state like this anymore, but alas, there is no corporate, er, national interest in Burma for us at the moment, so that will not happen...

Finally some more uplifting news...

The housing/credit/dollar/everything crunch has finally hit back at people that are supposed to be able to afford it!

Multi-million dollar mansions are also starting to tumble in price, showing just how far reaching this new economic crisis seems to be! Personally I'm glad this is effecting the wealthier members of our nation, since those people are far more valuable and important, so its quite possible this problem will get some attention now!

Lets face it, poor people are poor for a reason right? So, if a rich person is having money problems, it must be serious, right? :)
