You have to respect a who goes to Iraq without major media backing and embeds himself with troops, this one in Ramadi.
Now some may not agree with his politics, but I can have nothing respect for a man who is willing to put his life on the line to at least show you what it really is like on the ground. Not in the Green Zone, not what either media outlet shows you, just the unbridled account of some of the good things that ARE being done. These are things that are away from politics, where it is just soldier and Iraqi both trying to stay alive and find a common ground. Where there are stories of progress in Iraq and it's not all doom and gloom that some would say. These soldiers care just about getting the job done, not polls or how they are perceived.
They are there to do a job, and this group seems to be doing their's quite well.
