Noise bad! Hulk Smash!

Really have to see this movie now.

This whole story has a personal touch to it, as I've wished to do just what this man actually did in his lifetime.

"Noise", Bean's provocative second film, casts Tim Robbins as David, an upper-class family man driven insane by New York's loud sounds -- grinding garbage trucks, horns honking, back-up beepers and worst of all, car alarms squealing at all hours.

He becomes so obsessed with noise that he turns into a black-clad vigilante, "The Rectifier", waging his own crusade on those damn alarms shattering his quiet.

I mean, how many of us can totally relate with this guy?

I know I used to joke with my former that every time we heard sirens blaring in Rosslyn they were "playing our song", and they certainly played our song a helluva lot at wonderful times...

How many of us out there would just love to trash that car that seemingly only wants to set off its alarm at 3-4am on weeknights?

Personally I think we shouldn't be held responsible for any damage we may inflict on cars that do this... I mean, lets be honest here, does anyone actually think a car is being stolen when you hear that damn alarm go off?

I dont have high expectations from a guy who wrote Basic Instinct 2. BUT, Tim Robbins is a pretty decent actor. This movie could have potential!

I'm moreso looking forward to the idea of what he's doing :)

Hopefully it will inspire people to do this in real life!
