Chemical genius and beloved father of the Beatles "Lucy" inspiration Albert Hofman died today at the ripe old age of 102.
Obviously his creation lysergic acid diethylamide-25 (LSD to you "squares"), remains a controversial drug, both for its counter-culture connection and CIA strangeness, but he will at least always be remembered for giving rise to something that truly did some amazing (and scary) things to a persons mind.
I would say that I"ll be "pouring a 40 on the curb" for him this evening, but somehow that just doesn't seem all that fitting...
I'll come up with something though...
