Yeh, I dont really care about the end result either. But hey, the Redsox outplayed everyone, especially the Rockies. It would have been nice if 7 other hitters showed up to the ball park to help Matt Holliday at least try to compete for the Rockies, but nahhhhh whats the use. But man, the Redsox manhandled Colorado to sweep yet another Fall Classic. Congrats goes out to Mike Lowell for winning and deserving World Series MVP honors. He shined and I loved what Redsox nation had to say when comparing Arod to Lowell. Something along the lines of, "why do we need Arod, we have Lowell". Which is true. Mikey has 2 WS rings, one with Florida and one with Boston. Arod has, uhm uhm NONE!
But back to the recap. There is really nothing much to say. Redsox pitching was near flawless, hell, cancer survivor John Lester pitched like a Cy Young candidate last night. I was hoping the Rockies would have squeezed one win out, and hell almost did game 3, but Rockies bats couldnt compliment that Matt Holiday 3 run jack, hence, a game lost in which they should have won. But as a baseball fan and purist, I congratulate Redsox nation. I may hate hate HATE their fans, but they won and my Giants didnt.
