In case you didn't see it, my team has yet another reason to brag. Yes football fans, the NFL team with the greatest female following is none other than the Pittsburgh Steelers.Larry Foote, the Steelers starting inside LB was quoted that "the first thing when you get here and meet women here, you can hold a conversation with women about football. Where I'm from, Detroit, they don't know anything about football. This is the ultimate football town. The women here, they know what's going on."
Fellas, it's just one more reason to be a Steelers fan. Here we go....
The article doesn't mention it, but I'm guessing the team with the worst female following is Cleveland considering it was the only franchise to see it's value decline according to Forbes. Like seriously, WTF?! You must be pretty bad to lose value in this league.
On a side note, the Patriots ranking was questioned by league officials based on evidence that Bill Belichick had hardcore Patriot male fans dress as females in an effort to gain a competitive edge. Mr. Belichick stated this was simply a misinterpretation of the rules and apologized for any wrong doing. Commissioner Goodell was considering penalizing the Patriots by making them wear skirts on the field all season.
