Steve Jobs isn't a jackass, he just knows idiots when he sees them. He knows he can't beat Gates in OS so he'll take him by guerrilla forces.
Jobs gets those from underneathe Gates boot heal....I agree with Shane, he knows what people wants and its mindless toys.
I can't for the life of me understand why anyone thinks Steve Jobs owes anyone an "apology." What's next? An apology from Nike for discounting sneakers that people stood in line for three months ago? How about an apology from Barnes and Noble when the latest Harry Potter book is released in paperback?
I wish Jobs had just said "tough shit" to the whiners. After all, those sheep will be right back at the stores, standing in line at the break of dawn, when Apple releases the next shiny new toy. PT Barnum once said "there's a sucker born every minute." I think he was being generous.
