Dews Wednesday Issues

Today is going to be tough as I've got a lot on my plate as far as work, possible new work, finishing up side work, planning crap, etc etc etc.

This is only worsened of course, by our astrological plight in having Mercury be in retrograde!
Most modern astrologers do consider the retrograde movement of a planet to be indicative of stress or difficulty, although this is usually mentioned only with regard to transiting planets. For example, the retrograde movement of Mercury is commonly thought to signify difficulties in communication, such as post or emails going astray, verbal misunderstandings, and travel delays and frustrations.
This is such a great time for me having to do a lot of communication via emails, and verbal as well as significant amount of travel coming up... THANKS MERCURY! jerk...

Thankfully China should also be affected by this plight as well though, so it may throw a monkey-wrench into their new Space Weapon (ok, had to bold that):
Once the satellite-maneuvering technology matures, the group said, China would have the know-how to destroy other satellites in space in wartime. China could launch cheaply-made weapon-carrying objects into space and change their courses to destroy or damage satellites of other countries by sending signals from submarines, the center said.
Clearly the work of a nation with no intention of expansion via military anytime soon... Taiwan who?

And of course, the fires still rage through San Diego county today causing massive destruction and untold millions upon millions of dollars in damages so far.
The wildfires raging throughout Southern California have resulted in 1,760 insurance claims, the Insurance Information Network of California reported Tuesday.More than 1,600 structures have been destroyed in the fires. By the time the wildfires are extinguished, insurance claims could reach $500 million, according to the nonprofit insurance information group.
Interesting to note though, the FBI apparently had "interviewed" someone within Al-Qaeda that had mentioned this as a possible tactic. No telling whether this is pure bullshit, much like the FBI's previous work, but is an interesting read anyway.
