This reminds me of a George Carlin routine I saw once. He basically said that the reason he never got sick as an adult was because he grew up swimming in the Hudson. Maybe there was something to it.

Its funny, if we do not build our immunities we all become bubbleboys. So who wants to take a dip in the Hudson with me??
Side note- Remember that SNL skit back in the 70's, the Hudson River Bottled Water commercial? Man that was funny
