Can't make this stuff up

I love Vermont for no other reason than this kind of stuff happens all the time. A man in Leicester, Vt. was charged with DUI after flipping his truck on his way to pick up his ex-wife...who had been arrested for DUI a couple hours earlier. Awesome.

As soon as I see your post, all I can think to myself is "Please don't be someone I know, Please don't be someone I know, Please don't be someone I know..."

Seems like that would occur more frequently in my old stomping ground......The great state of Virginia!!

It may...probably does given how much bigger VA is. But, there's something about Vermont, things like this happen all the freakin time.

Way to funny DC&H!! You would think the media would put more attention to that kind of stupidity.

Who would have thought that the redneck population in VT was so large

yea, its total lack of any reliable public transportation at the hours in which someone would be intoxicated.

That and there are maybe 12 cabs statewide...

oh there is a very significant population of rednecks in Vermont... Especially around the area both Dewey and I grew up in.

Yeah, I'd say that if things had been a little different, Dews and I would have been full blown rednecks. Most of my family probably qualifies as rednecks, and everyone in the neighborhood Dews grew up in was either a redneck or PWT.

Vermont (esp. Barre, where I'm from) reminds me of Derry, Maine from the Stephen King books.
