T-Minus two days until the LSWTF staff (most of them anyway) take Vegas by storm, so of course I (the person who never gets sick, or even really hungover that much) am struggling through a damn chest cold...
I will be healed by Friday though, as I have a lot of "living up" to do for not only myself, but as a duty to some of those that shall be making the trip with us :).
Hope to be able to post on some of the Gonzo weirdness that shall be accompanying us on this trip, but we'll find out while we're there whether that will be possible...
Anyway, on to the news:
Pissed-off Patriots Petition People Protesting President to Piss-off.
Yes, apparently Drudge's article about poor Brattleboro VT's plan to "petition making President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney subject to arrest for crimes against the Constitution" has pissed off a sizable group of wackos.
PS, go to hell Mr. Caflisch, who happens to post regularly on a strange little board titled "Anomalies.net." I don't make a habit of harassing people online, or finding ones personal email to post in wonderful places, but you have officially made my list.

Secondly, one of my personal hero's Ahnuld (the Guvanah of Cawleefawneeya), looks to be getting ready to officially endorse McCain for President:
Not really sure what to make of this other then it will obviously help, but the Primary is all about rounding up the political base of a party first, and Ahnuld definitely does not cater to the more right-wing aspects of the Republican party...
This of course gives McCain a fighting chance against Huckabee for "Badass endorsements" having already gotten Sly Stallone to back him up as well, but Ahnuld and Stallone may still have trouble with the force that is... Chuck F'n Norris.
Thats all for now, but keeping a close eye on this supposed Edwards dropping out story... I assume its true, but I just don't trust the Media on these things until its been 100% backed up and that will require a speech from John Edwards officially telling us all that he is dropping out.

This was obviously one of the more crazy responses, but actually the responses came back as relatively positive complete with offers to help in the cause. Obviously some people took a personal affront to their own views while talking of cancelling their upcoming vacation to Vermont... To those people I call Bullshit, as anyone that is familiar with the political leanings of Vermont and could POSSIBLY be offended by what they do as a state would never set foot there, much less have a "planned" vacation there...

"I enjoy him because he also, of course, is someone who's working on the
environment and believes strongly that you can have a strong economy and good
environment," said Gov. Schwarzenegger.

That is all...
