Punished For Being Too Good?

Apparently a kid named Jericho Scott has been banned by the little league he plays in for, get this, throwing the ball too hard.. I completely agree with the parents and the coach on this one.. No person should be punished for being better than everyone else in the league. The only possible reason I could see this being good for the league and the kids is if the kid was hitting everyone in the head and scaring all of the other kids. From what I read though, Scott had great control and didn't have a single hit batsmen.. What kind of message does this send to all of the kids? Make sure you try but don't try to hard because then people won't play with you? Guess I don't understand the parents and referees of this league.. thoughts anyone?

Also in other news really quick.. Pirates are making a comeback! Yo ho ho and a barrel of oil!

Thats right, Pirates are back baby!!!

Someone check the kids passport. *cough cough* Danny Amonte *cough cough* Miguel Tejada *cough cough*

The kid should not be punished for being to good, rather, the kid should move to a new league or something to that effect. And if he was THAT good, why didnt I see his team in the Little League World Series....eh?
