CRISTOBAL HUET!!!!The Washington Capitals have made the move that might catapult them into the playoffs. They traded a 2nd round pick next year for the Montreal Canadiens top goaltender. Now the Capitals have a younger and, going by numbers, better goalie.
The Capitals know how to score, well Ovechkin does anyways, there biggest concern all season has been GAA (Goals Against Average). Huet has a 2.55 GAA this year whereas Kolzig's is abover 3.00..
I don't know if anyone was expecting this because I never heard one rumor about this deal. But it is official and the Capitals have become a force to be reckoned with for the last part of the season.
