CNN is reporting that John Edwards will announce that he is dropping out of the Presidential Race this afternoon in New Orleans.
This of course is bad news for us, since we have begun supporting Edwards in recent weeks. It saddens me that the one respectful candidate we had running is no longer around. This means all that we now have around us is mud and not the talk of the real issues at hand. Whoever is able to gain Edwards favor though will tip the scale in their favor, that's for sure.
There has been many rumors, from being the vice presidential nominee to even attorney general. I honestly don't know which I would prefer, he could have the President's ear in one aspect but go after the corruption we've had in this country for the last eight years cleaned up as well. Either way, the smart thing to do would be to have him as one of those posts and I think Obama is smarter about that then Clinton.
Hell, many of the things Edwards has been rallying against are some of the things that Shrill has been known for representing herself.

Im not a fan of Hillary or Obama. This is gonna be a tough call. Damn, I may vote Indy

Maybe Gore - Edwards instead? Two white southern boys?
I like Edwards for Atty. Gen. Fiesty, tough, keeps him in the public spotlight, lets him try to take on corrupt corporations, also sets him up for a (damn) third run at the Presidency.
How about Bloomberg?
Forgot about Bloomberg, if he had the right running mate I think he'd be a hugely viable third-party candidate in the mold of a Ross Perot (minus the craziness).
