Dews End of week issues

Ya ya, I know, I've been gone most the week doing this that and the other thing... Trust me, this blog is not the only thing I've been neglecting because of my lack of internet access at home. I still have another website to be brought online for a certain organization in the area that I haven't been able to get up yet and will be feeling the wrath for soonish :)

No matter, lets deal with the issues at hand, live for the moment, seize the day, ra ra all that good stuff right?

Leading off is a great little story of how Microsoft managed to pervert Christmas!

An artificial-intelligence Santa bot operated by Microsoft to talk to
children wavered off topic saying: “It’s fun to talk about oral
sex, but I want to
chat about something else....”

Honestly, I really only felt compelled to post about this because I am usually the anti-mac crusader, so I feel I have to prove that I'm equally down on microsoft. That and its about a robotic santa toy talking about oral sex... Really, do I need any other reasons?

Governor Mitt Romney gave his "JFK, don't hate the catholics" speech, though just substituted catholicism for those wacky mormons.

Immediate reaction from the pool of other GOP candidates was basically none at all, except for a LSWTF favorite, Governor Mike Huckabee that rather sensibly was quoted as:
"I think (discussing faith) is an important part of helping people get to
know the candidates," Huckabee said Friday morning after a breakfast fundraiser
in Charlotte. "(But) sometimes the questions get a little laborious when they
start asking you about intricate, nit- picky things of church doctrine that's
probably not all that relevant to being president."

Fair enough to me.

Lastly, I only have a certain amount of time here at the coffee shop before I need to get all pretty for Tacos tonight, but I shall be back in force very soon!

PS: Any LSWTF staff wanna join me for tacos? :)
PPS: Steely McBeam is NOT that hairy...

The Sad Lonely Life of Smart People

A recent study, allegedly, has determined that the smarter you are, the more likely you are to be a virgin. Of course it also shows that the more dee-dee-dee you are, more likely you shall be joining the chess club in virginity land.
The studies show that female and male adolescents with an IQ score either below 70 or above 110 are more likely to be virgins.

Adolescents with IQ scores ranging from 70 to 110 had the lowest probability of virginity, according to two researchers from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The average IQ score is 90 to 110.

As a fairly smart person who gets laid, I understand this study. Though I'm sure Duke folks will laugh at the fact that this study was researched at Chapel Hill, this is study is showing signs of faltering. When I went to high school, I knew the smart kids who got no action, hell some of them STILL haven't had any action in their lives. Today though, geeks rule, and they are having coitus with another person.

On a side note, was anyone really surprised that there were zero virgins found in the Studio Art major?

Hey Earl we got another one!

It just seems like those crazy young Republicans can't keep their desire of oral sex out of the news.
The chairman of the Clark County Republican Party — who last month was elected president of the Young Republican National Federation — has resigned both posts, apparently in the wake of a criminal investigation
...
Glenn Murphy Jr. e-mailed media outlets a letter announcing his resignation from both positions, citing an unexpected business opportunity that would prohibit him from holding a partisan political office.
...
the Clark County Sheriff’s Department on Friday began investigating Murphy...after speaking with a 22-year-old man who claimed that on July 31, Murphy performed an unwanted sex act on him while the man slept in a relative’s Jeffersonville home.

I know this looks similar to the case of solicitation in Florida, but wait, like another Florida Republican, this case too has a history of repeated acts.
In 1998, a 21-year-old male filed a similar report with Clarksville police claiming Murphy attempted to perform a sex act on him while he was sleeping. Charges were never filed in that case.

Unlike Mr. Allen, this man decided to forgo the asking portion and do the deed himself. You gotta love those Republicans, truly the party of a high moral standard.
