CRISTOBAL HUET!!!!The Washington Capitals have made the move that might catapult them into the playoffs. They traded a 2nd round pick next year for the Montreal Canadiens top goaltender. Now the Capitals have a younger and, going by numbers, better goalie.
The Capitals know how to score, well Ovechkin does anyways, there biggest concern all season has been GAA (Goals Against Average). Huet has a 2.55 GAA this year whereas Kolzig's is abover 3.00..
I don't know if anyone was expecting this because I never heard one rumor about this deal. But it is official and the Capitals have become a force to be reckoned with for the last part of the season.

Federov to Yzerman, back to Federov, oh wait a minute, Yzerman has checked the goalie out of the way. Federov shoots and scores!
Think they would have made it this year anyways.. these moves helped in so many ways though.. and they gave up so little..
Ruth is a pretty decent prospect I believe.
