Apparently Dana Perino doesn't pay attention to what the people she works for does over there on Pennsylvania Avenue.

She said that the administration is “deeply disappointed” by the measure, which suspends the country’s constitution, and believes it is never “reasonable” to “restrict constitutional freedoms in the name of fighting terrorism”:

Q: Is it ever reasonable to restrict constitutional freedoms in the name of fighting terrorism?

MS. PERINO: In our opinion, no.

This brought on only one response from me, and I think it's appropriate...

Universal Healthcare, Bush Style?

Neatly tucked away in this USA Today article is a very interesting tidbit of information. You wouldn't see it if you were a staunch conservative since the picture of Hillary and constant tidbits of information about her would have cause your blood to have boiled over and head to have exploded by the time you got to this precious nugget:

Bush will urge Congress to join him in seeking coverage for all Americans.

"He'd like to see the larger debate begin," Leavitt said. "The very best opportunity we have may well be in the next 15 months."

Huh.

Does that make him a pinko commie, or a corporate whore? Judging by the Prescription drug benefit bill, I'm guessing the whore, but what do I know?

Monday Blog O Dome

Fascinating, Wolf Blitzer took a stand for once when it comes to Republicans usage of manipulating statistics. Wow, attacks are down and deaths are up. Shouldn't we be worried that they are becoming more efficient?

How can one not love what Steve Spurrier brings to college football. I also can't stand Lee Corso, an average coach and a sub-par commentator.

Shouldn't it be considered treason to incite soldiers into possibly killing a Congressman? There really is no other explanation for these so called bios.

Over the weekend I kept seeing a brawl on Sportscenter between two minor league teams. This clears up what all the ruckus was about and why there was a 45 minute brawl.

That's it folks, spent the weekend in Minnesota, didn't find Senator Craig's bedroom errrrrrr stall, but loved the fact that Minneapolis has ZERO traffic. We're talking there wasn't anything not matter what time of the day you drove and as someone from DC that was a welcome change. Congrats go out to Appalachian State and their victory over Big Blue.

Thursday Throw Down

We start off today with the possibility that some Republican candidates may be realizing that supporting the war may not help them win an election. I wouldn't be shocked if this was New York, California or some liberal hotbed, but Texas? Yall done pissed off the wrong state.

People are finally starting to realize what we could have done with the money spent on Iraq. Hell, the Gulf Coast could be much farther along right now then it is, namely in shambles.

See, there is what the administration would have you believe and then there's the truth. There seems to me to be a huge difference between 8 benchmarks and 3. I actually heard someone on the radio saying, well we should wait until the military report cause we can trust that more.
