Who Are The Real Showstoppas?!

This coming weekend is Wrestlemania 24, live from Orlando, Florida and it looks to be their most solid Wrestlemania since Wrestlemania 22. You have a triple threat match that could turn into a real classic, arguably the two greatest wrestlers ever facing each other, two great streaks going head to head and a Money in the Bank match that I have more hope for then others do. So the remainder of the week we will have a top 24 list each day, starting today with the best matches and ending on Friday with the Wrestlemanias ranked in order.

I created an initial list of 42 and reduced that to 24, and just so you can complain about a favorite match of yours not making it, here are the matches which did not make the cut from the initial list. This will no doubt cause a huge stir with passionate wrestling fans, but bring it on jobbers, I'll go one on five thousand.
HONORABLE MENTION
Mr. T vs Roddy Piper Mania 2
The Brainbusters vs Strike Force Mania V
Undertaker vs Jake The Snake Roberts Mania VIII
Ric Flair vs Randy Savage Mania VIII
Randy Savage vs Crush Mania X
Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie vs The New Age Outlaws Mania XII
Steve Austin vs The Rock Mania XV
Edge & Christian vs The Dudley Boyz vs The Hardy Boyz Mania 2000
Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit Mania Mania X7
Shane McMahon vs Vince McMahon Mania X7
The Gimmick Battle Royal Mania X7
Matt Hardy vs Rey Mysterio Mania XIX
Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle Mania XIX
Eddie Guerrero vs Kurt Angle Mania XX
Kurt Angle vs Shawn Michaels Mania 21
Money In The Bank 2 Mania 22
Shawn Michaels vs Vince McMahon Mania 22
Undertaker vs Batista Mania 23

24 (tie). The Undertaker vs Diesel Wrestlemania XII

I enjoy this match more then most people, but for my money I don't know if we've ever seen a better match between two seven footers. I don't know if I've ever seen Diesel have a better match with a "big man" and this was the Undertaker's first real strong showing at Wrestlemania in my opinion. I think it is generally overlooked because of the fan following the Iron Man match received later in the night, but I love watching this match.

24 (tie). The Macho Man Randy Savage vs The Ultimate Warrior in a Retirement Match Wrestlemania VII
Macho King Randy Savage v. Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VII

Another match that isn't appreciated in my opinion, probably because of the two personalities involved more then anything else. We all know Warrior Warrior has gone bat-shit crazy, and Randy Savage has now become the steroid filled version of Eminem, but at Wrestlemania VII they both had one of their finest matches in their careers. You literally saw two competitors fighting for their respective careers, and you could actually by that they were fighting to keep wrestling and putting everything on the line.

23. John Cena vs The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels for the WWE Championship Wrestlemania 23

I'm not going to lie to you, I'm not a big John Cena fan. Well, I'm not a fan of how the WWE makes him wrestle. I'm sorry, I'm apart of the group of fans who want to see what folks can actually do, not just the same five or six moves every match. I will say this though, "Mr. Wrestlemania" enable John Cena to have the match of his life that night. I saw some of the glimpse of what I thought John Cena could be when he first appeared in the WWE.

22. HHH vs Chris Jericho for the Undisputed Championship Wrestlemania X8

I'm not a HHH hater like those out there, folks he really is this good and gets the pushes he deserves. Now I'm not saying being married to the bosses daughter doesn't hurt, but it's not the only reason he gets the matches. It's because when he gets the matches he delivers, of course it doesn't hurt when you're working with Chris Jericho who could make Maven look like a Main Eventer.

21. The Undertaker vs The Nature Boy Ric Flair in a No DQ Match Wrestlemania X8

This was the time people really started saying Ric Flair should retire, but this match with the Undertaker quelled that talk...if only for a month or two. This was a time period where Undertaker was having his best matches, even if he wasn't the "Deadman" anymore. It was the greatest wrestler of all time versus the greatest gimmick of all time, if only it could have happened when both wrestlers where doing their best work, this could have been the grand daddy of them all.

20. Raven vs Kane vs The Big Show for the WWE Hardcore Title Wrestlemania X-Seven

Now both WCW and WWF had been trying to adapt the ECW style into their shows, with the WWF being much more successful with the Hardcore Title. WCW's version was an abortion and WCW Uncensored is still in my opinion the worst pay per view in the history of man and beast. This was the high point for the Hardcore Title as this very well may have been the greatest WWF Hardcore Title match of all time. Think about this, the Big Show was just named in a participant in an all time great match, that's how good this match is.

19. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship Wrestlemania XIV

I know a lot of you will argue that this match belongs in the top ten, but I'm not one of those. It does belong in the top five of gutsiness performances of all time knowing HBK's physical problems at that time though I will give you that. It made Austin a World Champion and showed that HBK was the greatest of his generation, but as a Wrestlemania Top Ten match, I just don't see it. Maybe if there wasn't any Mike Tyson bullshit it would have turned out better, but for my money it cheapened a moment that could have been classic.

18. The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels vs Big Daddy Cool Diesel for the WWF Championship Wrestlemania XI

At Wrestlemania X you saw that Shawn Michaels could steal the show, Wrestlemania XI showed that no matter what his size he could be a main eventer. Now we all know that Vince McMahon has some preoccupation with large steroid filled men, but hey that's a life choice and who are we to argue. HBK showed that a man maybe 225 pounds could be the main event attraction because he was just that damn good. This was also Diesel before he started believing his own press and really just stopped trying for the most part.

17. Andre the Giant vs Hulk Hogan for the WWF Championship Wrestlemania III

I don't know if there was a bigger wrestling match in the history of professional wrestling before this match. Andre the Giant vs Hulk Hogan before the largest crowd in professional wrestling history (at that point, Flair drew more later HA!) was nothing short of amazing. Andre's performance is also up there on that gutsiness scale as he reportedly had something like a 104 degree temperature during this match.

16. HHH vs John Cena for the WWE Championship Wrestlemania 22

Again John Cena makes this list, much to my chagrin, but it shows he won't drop the ball when wrestling with better workers. I didn't put the match up because the best thing about this match is HHH's entrance, which may be the best entrance in Mania history, though I know some will argue the Undertaker with druid and flames and HBK's coming from the ceiling can have fighting words as well. I remember watching this, the entire house was filled with Conan and HHH fans, and were ready to destroy the TV at the end.

15. Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit vs Chris Jericho in a Two-Fall Triple Threat Match for the WWF Intercontinental and European Championships Wrestlemania 2000
free video hosting
Free Video Hosting

Let me put it simply so all can understand, I understand what Benoit did but I will not punish a match because of a man's later actions. He may be a double murderer, but he is still one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. Hell, he probably faced more wrestlers who could be on that list of greatest ever then anyone else in Wrestlemania history. This match was phenominal, one of the only saving graces from one of the worst Wrestlemanias ever.

14. Undertaker vs HHH Wrestlemania X-Seven

I would be hard pressed to find a better Undertaker match, period. Be it Wrestlemania, pay per view, television or just some house show, this is Undertaker at his absolute best. This is just another reason that Wrestlemania X-Seven was the best Wrestlemania of all time, and if you don't believe me you're smoking something given to you by X-Pac.

13. Edge vs Chris Jericho vs Christian vs Chris Benoit vs Kane vs Shelton Benjamin in Money In The Bank Wrestlemania 21

This began the downward trend toward tag team competition in the WWE. The WWE found many of their biggest stars in the tag team division, HBK and Bret Hart for example. The destruction of the tag team division sickens me people, I just wish there was some way for all of us to express our disappointment to Vince McMahon. This match was the beginning of Edge's push to the Main Event, but it was stolen by Shelton Benjamin who showed he may be the most physically gifted athlete ever to step into the ring. To bad athleticism doesn't translate to charisma or drawing power.

12. Chris Jericho vs The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels Wrestlemania XIX

Chris Jericho grew up more or less being a huge mark for Shawn Michaels, which is odd since they're not that far apart in age but I digress. He has stated that this is one of his favorite matches of all time, and with good reason, this match steals Wrestlemania XIX and should have been the main event of the evening. Hell, I would have put it for the title, it would have been better then HHH and Booker T at the very least.

11. Edge and Christian vs The Dudley Boys vs The Hardy Boyz in Tables, Ladders, Chairs for the WWF Tag Team Championship Wrestlemania X-Seven

I know many think this should be a top five match, and for high spots it's likely number one. I, however, am a old school wrestling fan and story, psychology and other aspects I love more then ladder, chair, run in, fake dusty finish, table, run in, etc etc etc. I really have to sit down and see which TLC I love more, but don't get me wrong, it is a tremendous match that saw four young wrestlers and some cagey veterans put on probably the best matches they had up to that point. One could argue that this match is what started pushing Edge and Jeff Hardy towards main events.

10. Hulk Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior Title versus Title Wrestlemania VI

After Andre and Hogan they were looking for the next big match, they tried with the Mega Powers explode but you knew Hogan was walking out of Wrestlemania V with the belt. The Ultimate Warrior had been getting Hogan like pops and you honestly had a completely split crowd, half were Lil Warriros half were Hulkamaniacs. Well, who were there at least, some of us were watching the match shaking our heads and going WOOOOOOOOOO! This was big in the wrestling business at the time, you NEVER saw the good guy versus the good guy, never.

9. The Rocket Owen Hart vs Bret The Hitman Hart Wrestlemania X

I'm sure many of you don't have this match this high, but I'm biased I met Owen Hart on a few occasions and he was nothing but pure class and great to his fans, which included myself. This was a beautiful old school wrestling match that I think time has forgotten due to everyone's attention being on the Ladder Match later in the evening. Folks have forgotten the wrestling clinic that the two brothers from Calgary put on for everyone in the wrestling business. Personally, every kid who is learning to become a professional wrestler should have to sit down and watch this match over and over so they know what perfection looks like.

8. The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels vs Bret The Hitman Hart in an Iron Man Match for the WWF Championship Wrestlemania XII

There has been arguments over the years as to whether this is a classic match. This usually comes down to two camps, the new crowd who are nothing but high spots and crappy technical skills, and the old school camp who would rather watch Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat ten times in a row then one Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles match. For my money this is another match students should have to sit down and study, to keep a crowd's interest for an hour plus takes the most devoted professional and I can think of a handful of other wrestlers who could do it as well as HBK and Bret Hart.

7. The Rock vs Hollywood Hulk Hogan Wrestlemania X8

I can hear the hate mail coming, I can see it lumbering toward me like an out of control locomotive. How can I possibly have The Rock and Hollywood Hogan only at number six. Why, let me explain to you. Yes, this probably has the best crowd reactions in the history of Wrestlemania, I won't argue that point. But Hogan was a long way away from his prime and the Rock had already began the sloppy looking work inside the ring. Hogan was in it for one last run, before his next one last run, and the Rock was already looking towards Hollywood. Yes, it's a great match, hell it's number six, but there is no way in hell I can put it in the top five let alone number one. I understand it is icon versus icon, but I love WRESTLING, good ole fashioned wrestling.

6. Bret The Hitman Hart vs Rwody Roddy Piper for the Intercontinental Championship Wrestlemania VIII

For the first time in Roddy Piper's career at Wrestlemania he wasn't involved in some kind of funky gimmick match. You had the tag with Mr. T, the boxing match with Mr. T, Adrian Adonis, Piper's Pit, Bad News Brown, but finally he was able to show just how good of a wrestler he was. This match also really put Bret Hart on the map as being able to wrestle the top level guys and steal the show from the likes of Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair. Think about this, a card that had Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Undertaker and Randy Savage and it was stolen by Bret Hart and Roddy Piper. In my opinion this is Piper's second greatest match of all time, second only to the Greg Valentine dog collar match at the first Starcade.

5. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock in a No DQ Match for the WWF Championship Wrestlemania X-Seven

This will no doubt where I will get a lot of hate mail from, this top ten. Steve Austin versus The Rock is in my estimation the greatest Wrestlemania feud of all time. They faced off three times and Austin has the lead 2-1. Out of the three matches, this is their best performance, even with the Dusty-Russorific finish at the end. Hell, Austin and McMahon joining forces to defeat the Rock is partly why it is such a great match.

4. The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon in a Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship Wrestlemania X
free video hosting
Free Video Hosting

Not the first Ladder Match in wrestling history, even though the WWE would like you to think so. Hell not even HBK's first Ladder Match in the WWE, he wrestled Bret Hart in one the year prior. Without a doubt, though, the first outstanding gimmick match in Wrestlemania history, with apologies to the Blindfold Match at Wrestlemania VII. I always thought Scott Hall made a poor career choice going to WCW. With Shawn Michaels the top dog in the WWE it wouldn't have been long until he got to belt off of HBK in their third ladder match. That's all just a sidetrack thought though, this really showed what we would later expect in the WWE. I think this was the tip of the attitude style of wrestling that would make its real debut at Wrestlemania 13.

3. Ricky The Dragon Steamboat vs Macho Man Randy Savage for the Intercontinental Championship Wrestlemania III

I initally had this as the number two match of all time, but decided against it knowing the story Steamboat has told where Savage brought him down to Florida and they worked a long time over this match. For many years it was considered the greatest wrestling match in Wrestlemania history. Hell, some thought it was the greatest match of all time period. I will say it is probably the greatest pre-choreographed match in wrestling history. No, they're not all choreographed the way this one was so get off that kick already. Savage and Steamboat, for the IC title, if only that had been Ric Flair versus Ricky Steamboat. That is one big sadness, we never got to see Steamboat versus Flair on the biggest stage of them all.

2. Chris Benoit vs HHH vs The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels in a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship

I'm not gonna punish Shawn Michaels and HHH for what Chris Benoit did later in life. This was the perfect match for the twentieth anniversary of Wrestlemania. The underdog, the person who was always told he would never be THE man won over all odds and began HHH's tradition of submitting in the main event at Wrestlemania. It was the culmination of a long journey for one of the best in business and he went up against arguably the best wrestlers of their respective generation and out shined Mr. Wrestlemania. I can't forgive Chris Benoit for what he did, but I can honestly say I miss him performing week in and week out.

1. Bret The Hitman Hart vs Stone Cold Steve Austin in a Submission Match Wrestlemania 13

I included the entire match for you all to watch because it's such a thing a beauty. The classic style and the new attitude style never blended better then Steve Austin and Bret Hart. Stone Cold had already started a movement the year before at the King of the Ring with Austin 3:16, but he didn't become completely over until this match. It's hard to say if either gentlemen had a better match in their career. This also may be the greatest wrestling finish in the history of the business. It gets over the loser, shows how tough he is, and the winner doesn't lose face in the process. I can't see a single flaw in this match and that is one reason why Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret The Hitman Hart are ranked number one.

How To Fix TNA

TNA in October upgrades their TV show from one hour to two hours on Spike TV. There has been much talk on the internet on how they can improve their program before this time, though it may not be possible. Ever since they got the Spike TV Deal, hell ever since they signed Kurt Angle TNA has gone downhill and become reminiscent of the last year or so of WCW. Today I discuss the few things I would do to make them competitive with the WWE, or at least what they should do to make themselves so.

1. Change Your Booker
I understand that Vince Russo and Dutch Mantell are their current bookers and are probably most to blame for the drop in TNA's programming. I remember a time when you couldn't miss TNA due to what they were doing on their shows. It was about WRESTLING and not jibber jabber. Now they have fallen into the WWE's problem and have WAY too much talking going on in their shows. Their amount is fine, if it was a two hour show, but it hasn't been. My first order of duty would be to replace Vince and Dutch with a man I think could be a real player again, as long as he doesn't handle the finances.

Of course I am talking about Paul Heyman.

No longer under WWE contract, he may be the greatest booking mind this business has ever known, and maybe the worst financial one. Just give him the book and watch how things are turned around. ECW never had a dull moment, just bad money decisions. Give him the reigns if you truly want to compete with the WWE.

2. Free Agents
411Wrestling.com suggested they sign three, Chris Jericho, RVD and Booker T. I say Chris Jericho is too difficult to sign for this and just sign RVD and Booker T. Right away they should be added to one of the categories that I will list below. They still have a great deal left in the tank, and imagine RVD and Heyman together again on a mission to take down the WWE. RVD allowed once again to be the Whole Fucking Show, even bring back Fozzie.

3. Categories
TNA needs to know where each wrestler is best used at and have them focus on that area. I would have four categories in which to place people, and they can move when the need arises, but that would depend on how well they were over. They would be World Title, X Division, Tag Team, and Feud. These would be give the show a sense of direction and not the sense of forgetfulness that it seems to have gained as if they have Alzheimer's. The groupings I would use would be the following.

The World Title Division would be Kurt Angle, Christian Cage, Sting, Samoa Joe, RVD and Booker T. The only caveat to this group would be I would let Sting go here in a few months. He's getting older, his work rate is slipping and it's time for some new blood. Rhino has held the ball, and has run with it and as such I would move him into this division. The focus in this group would be on getting the World Title. Other things may play a factor, but the end goal is the World Title.

The X Division would be Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, Kazarian, Jay Lethal, Ron Killings and Petey Williams. These men have shown time and again why they are the future of this sport. Daniels, Styles and Killings can be moved into the World Division when needed, but once there they shouldn't be downgraded again. They need to get back to having phenomenal matches that get people on their feet staring in awe and saying Oh My God!

The Tag Team Division would look much of the same as it does now with The Steiners, Team 3D, Motor City Machine Guns, VKM, LAX and XXX. The caveats would be to let go of the Steiners, VKM and eventually Team 3D. I know they're name teams, but they're getting on and holding down the younger teams. Plus most of the younger teams could easily be X Division Champions and I'd love to see these guys unleashed in tag team competition. I would replace those teams with the following. Sonjay Dutt and Havoc form a tag team being lead by Raven, and make the ultimate face team of Lance Hoyt and Eric Young as Hoyt turns on Hemme or she turns face or, what is their position again? The third would be to bring back the Naturals as they really did have some promise.

The Feud Division is basically our version of Potpourri. This pretty much consists of Abyss, Rhino, Tomko, James Storm, Robert Roode, Chris Harris, Black Reign, Judas Messiah, Matt Morgan and Jeff Jarrett. I do not think Jarrett should be in the World Title picture anymore as he brings nothing spectacular to the table. Every man in that division has been known to have AMAZING matches, I can't think of one AMAZING Jeff Jarrett match. They can feud about anything and anyone and I'm sure Heyman would figure out what that should be, he never lacked for coming up with those ideas.

So there you have it, get rid of some of the dead weight and push the youth. Use you workers who are already stars elevate the youth and go back to having eye-popping PPVs. Keep things like the all Steel Cage PPV, Ultimate X, and maybe even Monsters Ball. Bring back some oldies but goodies like a Scaffold Match, War Games and other gimmick matches.

The final thing I would do would be to have the PPVs in a different location each month, but be specific and smart about locals. You need to go to wrestling hotbeds where you will be guaranteed an audience. Philadelphia, Dayton, Chicago, Los Angeles, Houston, Dallas, Memphis, Atlanta, Boston, New York City, Detroit and one at home in Orlando. Maybe even consider going to Calgary or Montreal for a PPV as well. Having UWF type shows is fine, but you need to get the TNA out there and if ROH can get almost 1000 people in those cities, TNA can do just as well. My suggestion for Philadelphia would be the ECW Arena, it's held PPVs already and has the history, the presence.

So, there you have it, my suggestion to fix TNA, thoughts?

WWE Hall of Fame 2008/2009

Someone on JR's blog asked him yesterday or so about the Hall of Fame and if Sabu would be inducted into it? First off, Sabu? Yes, he has had quite an impact on this sport but some would argue if it has been good or bad. If it is for toughness alone he should be in there without a doubt. There are others more deserving then Sabu that likely would never make it in, which saddens me. So today I give to you the next fourteen folks I believe will be inducted into the WWE hall of fame the next two years.

2008 inductions

The British Bulldogs-This is a long time coming and I think this plus another induction this year would be the perfect time to introduce the new Hart Family, much like they did with Cody Rhodes this year. The real highlight would be to see Dynamite accept his award and speak to some of the people, I'm looking at you Jeff Hardy, who take too many risks.
Inductor-Harry Smith

Ravishing Rick Rude-An IC champ, a former WCW Champ, and one of the most hated wrestlers in history. There may be some bad blood from when he went to WCW, but that should be over now and he deserves to be in the hall of fame with his best friend Curt Henning. He was probably the best heel talker other then Bobby Heenan in the WWE in the late 80s.
Inductor-Bobby Heenan

The Model Rick Martel
-He had a very illustrious career, multiple champion everywhere he went and I think he deserves to be there. If Strongbow and Steele are in the Hall of Fame, Martel should be as well. They even gave him the crappy ass Model gimmick and somehow he managed to work it, hat has to go off on that.
Inductor-Tito Santana

Scott Hall-He's never gonna wrestle again I wager so why not induct him into the WWE Hall of Fame. Without a doubt Shawn Michaels might have never become the showstopper if it wasn't for his matches with Hall. He was also the cool bad character long before there was a Stone Cold running around. He definitely change the business with the nWo and would assume his friends would push for this.
Inductor-Shawn Michaels

Terry Funk-I was shocked when I learned that he wasn't in the WWE Hall of Fame. The grandfather of hardcore without a doubt deserves to be in there. We all know his contributions to this sport, and the get the bonus of having Mick Foley induct him into the Hall of Fame, how can that not work? Thankfully retirement is not a requirement for enshrinement.
Inductor-Mick Foley

The Big Two Inductions

Owen Hart-The King of Harts, the Black Hart, the sole survivor, The Rocket Owen Hart; it's a long time coming. I would hope this would happen about the same time an Owen Hart DVD was released as that is long overdue as well. Here you get the bonus of possibly having Bret Hart there once again to induct his lil baby brother and the reaction and tears would be legendary. Owen Hart deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, they OWE him that much.
Inductor-Bret Hart

The Rock-This year's Wrestlemania is in Florida, why not have the biggest name induction be The Rock? He's never going to wrestle again, might as well induct him. I think people are easily fooled since he is still listed on their Superstars page, but The Rock is a Hollywood star now, let us finally bury the career of the Rock in the WWE and induct him properly. You could even have him have a small segment at Mania much like Hogan did, and who knows, maybe that MIGHT rekindle something.
Inductor-Steve Austin

Hall of Fame 2009

Rock N Roll Express-Keeping in the tradition of inducting one tag team each year into the Hall of Fame I give to you maybe the most over tag team ever in the South. I'm not sure who would induct them, but you could have someone like the Hardys, or maybe even Arn Anderson or someone of that nature. They are well deserving and hopefully there isn't any bad blood to allow them to be held back from induction.
Inductor-Arn Anderson

Jim Neidhardt-Some may question this, but here is another reason to get Bret Hart at the Hall of Fame. Then again, his daughter could be WWE Women's Champion at the time and could induct him as well. Bret is already in and so to have the Hart Foundation complete in the Hall of Fame you have to induct The Anvil, especially since someone who performed in the 80s he looks the same he deserves some sort of reward.
Inductor-Naddie Neidhardt

Mick Foley-He's also retired, it's Wrestlemania 25, and by god does Mick deserve to be in. People find it odd that my favorite wrestler of all time is Cactus Jack. Not Mick as the other gimmicks didn't get me as much, but Cactus touched a part of me most folks don't know about. The fans love Foley, after all, Foley is GOoD. Have Terry Funk induct him, or better yet, have Al Snow induct Mick Foley, that would be comedy gold.
Inductor-Al Snow

Kevin Nash-Now this is baring that he is no longer under TNA contract or something, but Nash does deserve to be in the Hall of Fame as well. Having Shawn Michaels or Scott Hall induct him would be a great joy and amusement to see happen. We all know Nash is one of the funniest performers of all time and without a doubt his speech would be something for the ages.
Inductor-Shawn Michaels

Miss Elizabeth-This has been put off for way too long and as the first Diva in the WWE, Miss Elizabeth deserves to be in here right next to Sherri, Moolah and all the others. Though he tenure may not have been as long as others, the is no question as to the impact she brought to the product. I can think of three storylines that were golden that revolved directly around her.
Inductor-Trish Stratus

The Big Two Inductions

Macho Man Randy Savage-Yes, it's Wrestlemania 25 and Randy Savage needs to be here, if for nothing else the absolute comedy gold that his crazy ass would spout during his speech. He was one of the most over wrestlers of all time, and in the 80s I would argue there was no one bigger then Savage, Hogan, Flair and Piper. We all know the issues allegedly surrounding his getting inducted, but for the fans sake I hope both sides can come together and work something out for the fans. I just hope Bonesaw is ready.
Inductor-Dusty Rhodes

The Nature Boy Ric Flair-Without a doubt this is THE greatest wrestler of all time. Some argue, well he lost his titles all those times. Yes, to put people over, but he always ended up getting it back. He lives and breathes this business and would always be my number one draft pick for building a wrestling company. There is no one in this business who performs quite the way Flair does. His counterpart also needs to be in the hall of Fame, both of them. That of course is Arn Anderson and Ricky The Dragon Steamboat, but I suppose that is for 2010.
Inductor-HHH (you know he's gonna want to do this)

Realizing who wasn't already in the hall of fame, here is also a short list for those who should be inducted in 2010.
The Road Warriors, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, Ricky Steamboat, The Midnight Express, Demolition and Chris Benoit.

Yes, I realize it is a heavy tag team year, but all four teams deserve to be inducted.

My Solution for the WWE

Last night was SummerSlam, and judging by all reports it was once again a mediocre affair. To be honest, I've more or less have stopped watching the WWE due to many reasons the chief of among them is the mediocre level that they have fallen to followed closely by the ridiculous storylines, pushing of talent undeserving, too much female bs, and many more reasons that I could list but then we'd be here all day and night. The following is my solution to the problems the WWE currently has and what, I believe, would lead to a resurgence of viewership and overall product quality.

SHOW ROSTERS RELEASES AND MOVES
First and foremost would be the immediate altering of rosters. Not a huge move, like I have suggested in the past, but one to help each show solidify what they stand for. Therefore here are the individuals that I would remove from each show and either release from their contract or relocate them.
RAW
Hacksaw Jim Duggan-release
The Sandman-release
Santino Marella-OVW
Super Crazy-Smackdown
Val Venis-ECW
SMACKDOWN
Mark Henry-release
Shannon Moore-ECW
The Major Brothers-Raw
Deuce, Domino and Cherry-Raw
Ashley, Michelle, Torrie-Raw
Victoria-ECW
ECW
The Boogeyman-Smackdown
Nunzio-Smackdown
The Miz-Smackdown
Big Daddy V and Matt Striker-Smackdown
Extreme Expose-Raw

Mark Henry's contract is up, or so I hear, and I would just release him. He can't wrestle very well and is constantly hurt. Hacksaw gets the old timer pop, but is useless otherwise, I think the same can almost be said for the Sandman (and I'm a fan). Santino is not ready for prime time as one would say and I suggest sending him back to the minors.

As you see, I have sent the majority of the women to Raw. They serve no purpose on Smackdown and I'm tired as hell of watching Extreme Expose and their bad dancing. Perhaps keep Kelly Kelly on ECW as a manager as a foil to Victoria.

ROSTER SIGNINGS
The key to this is of course the rumor that certain TNA contracts are up in October so naturally this is when this would take place. I also think it is imperative that these men move now as TNA is becoming WCW 2000 in a hurry and completely wasting these talents.

Samoa Joe
Christopher Daniels
Senshi
Elix Skipper
Colt Cabana

Now, in a dream world I would include Homicide on this list but I have no idea what his status is so in the meantime have him listed as needs to move soon as well. Course Colt Cabana is merely a call up, but since he's not on the major three lists we shall add him here. All five men would go to ECW, as would Paul Burchill once Homicide is signed (who of course also goes to ECW).

THE PLANS

ECW

Now then your roster is Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Senshi, Elix Skipper, Colt Cabana, CM Punk, John Morrison, Monty Brown, Elijah Burke, Kevin Thorn, Steven Richards, Tommy Dreamer, Balls Mahoney, Val Venis, Victoria and Shannon Moore. I know many may blast what I am about to say, but hear me out. The entire rest of the time from October/November to Wrestlemania is a build up to the three way dance of John Morrison, CM Punk and Samoa Joe.

Why, because that would easily be the match of the night and has the potential to be the greatest match in Wrestlemania history. I almost would want to include Daniels, but I have other ideas for him. But yes, it would start out as Samoa Joe being the hired gun of John Morrison to take out CM Punk. That's why Punk calls on his best friend Colt, to even the score. This also allows us to see some Punk and Joe matches at Pay Per Views while Morrison defends the title against various folks.

The other major storyline on ECW would be a faction war, The Fallen versus The New Balance errr New Breed errr fuck it, they become the new Nation of Domination. Christopher Daniels would begin with promos anticipating his arrival. Every two weeks he's with another one of his lost souls. The Fallen becomes Daniels, Kevin Thorn, Steven Richards and Shannon Moore. You reunite Steven Richards and after a year or so you could have a Richards/Victoria Thorn/Ariel match. Yes, you would bring her back for that.

They would feud with The Nation which would be Elijah Burke, Monty Brown, Senshi and Elix Skipper. The blow off would be Wrestlemania in a falls count anywhere eight man hardcore match. Now imagine that at the Citrus Bowl, how amazing would that be? Now the key for all of ECW is for the WWE to allow them to just wrestle. Don't hinder on what these men could do, if you allow it, ECW would soon have higher ratings then maybe even Raw itself.

RAW

John Cena's reign of terror is almost to the one year mark, and since the rosters move around at October, that is where I am running with this idea. Also, Raw is now the sole home for Tag Team wrestling and Female wrestling in the WWE. You have two hours each week, there is plenty of room for the WWE, IC, Tag and Women's title. Women's and IC the first hour, Tag and WWE in the second. I would also pretty much book each card like that, maybe switching IC and Tag every now and then.

Now then, you have a great deal of female wrestlers so you can rotate who's on top fairly well. Just push whoever is getting this biggest pop each month, no one really cares about female wrestling. My main event though for Mania would be Mickie James versus Beth Phoenix for the title.

The Tag Team division needs a kick in the pants in the biggest way. They have plenty of sound tag teams and we need to show of their talents. Have one feud over the tag titles and one feud like the Rock N Roll and Midnight. Whirling Dervish, Cryme Tyme, and D&D should be feuding over the tag titles. Mania, I say you have to go Dervish and CT with CT finally winning the belts. The other feud I think you should have is London and Kendrick versus WGTT just for the athleticism alone.

The IC title needs to be brought back as the person who is likely next in line for the WWE title. It worked for Austin, Rock and HHH. It is where they hone their skills and get ready for the main event, and that is where they have dropped the ball in recent years. Umaga, Kennedy, these are main event folks and should be in this mix, but not Carlito. He can wrestle for it, but he should never win it, he's no main eventer. Hell, I would even move him back to Smackdown possibly. Lashley, Booker and Hardy should also be in this mix. Mix it up, and don't think about Mania, that's where Money in the Bank comes in.

The WWE title should revolve around Cena, Orton, HHH and HBK...at the beginning. I do think Kennedy is almost there, if only he can stay healthy till Wrestlemania. I would give Orton the belt in October, only to have HHH win it at the Royal Rumble. This is only to continue the stupid McMahon storyline of Kennedy being his son. He wins the Rumble and faces off against HHH at Wrestlemania.

SMACKDOWNYou may be wondering, why do I have a picture of Ric Flair up for the Smackdown section? Well, it is really quite simple. In October, to the shock of everyone, Ric Flair would beat the Great Khali and become the World Heavyweight Champion once again, WOOOOOOOOO!

No, I'm not kidding. He would hold onto the belt until Royal Rumble where hopefully Edge will be healthy enough to win the title from Ric Flair. Hey, Hogan got his last run with the title, so should Flair. I mean, after all, weren't we all taught when we were growing up that we should be fair to Flair?

Now then, now that all the women and tag teams are gone from Smackdown the focus would be on singles wrestling. Basically it would be for Vince's big men that he covets so much, guys who aren't ready for Raw and can't compete with ECW's level, and for Cruiserweights. Yes, the CW division for the new CW. Hell, maybe even change the name of the title to the CW title, confuse folks and make them think it's a TV title.

You have Batista, Undertaker, Khali, Big Daddy V, and Kane for the huge men contingent. Hell, maybe even more Snitsky over to Smackdown for his own hat trick. Sadly, none of these men would be in the main event at Mania. I would move for a Batista Undertaker rematch at Mania with Batista determined to break the record. I would also move for the fattest guy on the roster to take on the tallest guy so we can all have a piss break, just don't put it after the women's match.

You may be wondering, who then is wrestling Edge? Well, isn't it obvious? Matt Hardy will main event Wrestlemania, but of course, there will be a twist in this match. Lita will be made the guest referee. Say what, yes, Lita will be the guest referee. I think these two can at the very least put on one hell of a show together and they both have done enough for the company to deserve this spot.

The CW and US title, eh, it's the usual business for those two belts. I know you're thinking to yourself, no one in their right mind would watch this brand! Ah, have no fear my young peons, for I do have a solution to that dilemma. You see, Teddy Long is getting a bit long in the tooth to be GM of Smackdown. Therefore, the new Smackdown GM is none other then Stone Cold Steve Austin. See, I told you people would still watch.

WRESTLEMANIA

See, I think their programs should be built into two halves. One building towards SummerSlam and one building towards Wrestlemania. In theory you could do it thrids with the other portion building for Survivor Series, but that's also where I would introduce WarGames to the WWE. So then, with all this written, here is what my card would be for Wrestlemania, bold is the winner.

Champion Derek Frazier defends against Sabian (representing Blkout)
Frazier's manager, Jim Christian, has petitioned the EWA Offices refusing to face DJ Hyde until he earns a title shot and insisting they dont face a surprise like at our last event when the EWA Matchmaker brought out Ruckus. So now Frazier has 30 days notification of his opponent and it is Ruckus' partner in Blkout, Sabian. Sabian has been recovering from a nasty leg injury and is looking forward to facing Frazier for EWA gold.
